Young players come first
Player wellbeing takes priority over results. Adults must treat children with dignity, respect boundaries and challenge bullying, discrimination and abusive behaviour.
Safe participation
Each event must identify a safeguarding contact, reporting route, supervision arrangements, first-aid provision and emergency procedure before participation is confirmed. Team representatives are responsible for communicating these arrangements to guardians.
Communication and information
Registration is handled through adult representatives. Do not share children’s private details in open messages or general website forms. Private contact with children outside approved team and guardian channels is not appropriate.
Reporting a concern
For a non-urgent concern, use the contact form and choose “Safeguarding concern”. Provide a short description and an adult contact method; avoid sensitive identifying details in the initial message. This form is not an emergency response channel. If there is immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
Images and consent
Photography and player profile permission are separate, specific choices. A child’s objection must be respected. Guardians can request review or removal through the privacy contact route.
Event responsibilities
Before an event opens, the organiser must confirm responsible personnel and event-specific safeguarding procedures. This website policy is a baseline and is not evidence that an event has completed those checks. Version: 19 September 2026.
